When life brings our most difficult moments - loss, infertility or sudden change - it can feel hard to find solid ground.You may be carrying grief, confusion or questions that don’t have easy answers. But you don’t have to carry them all on your own.I’m Denise, an accredited counsellor with over 25 years’ experience supporting people through some of their most challenging times. Clients often describe me as calm, warm and easy to talk to and I offer a space where you can feel heard, without judgement or pressure.

Individual Counselling

Whether you are navigating a recent crisis or a long-standing struggle, I offer a professional, grounded perspective to help you find your footing and a way forward. I've extensive experience working with a wide range of issues including, low mood, stress, anxiety, bereavement, trauma and relationship difficulties.


Loss and Infertility

With a particular interest in pregnancy loss, infertility, and stillbirth, I bring specialist training and compassion to this delicate work.I provide a steady presence for those navigating these specific and often isolating journeys.

Relationship Counselling

When relationships start to break down, it can feel impossible to know how to make things better. I can help you to talk openly, work through tension and conflict and find clarity about your future together.

Separation Counselling

Ending a relationship can be complicated and painful. I offer a calm environment to untangle the emotional and practical difficulties and part with care and respect.

Clinical Supervision

Beyond my work with clients, I provide clinical supervision for trainees and qualified therapists. This is a reflective space to help deepen your practice and maintain the highest ethical standards.

Online Counselling

Online and telephone counselling offers a flexible and confidential space to explore whatever is troubling you, from the comfort of your own environment. Sessions are held securely by video, making them accessible, whatever your location.£65 per session

In-Person Counselling

Face-to-face counselling provides a calm, supportive environment where we can work together at your own pace. Meeting in person allows time-out for focused support, away from the distractions of daily life. I offer sessions in the west end of Aberdeen.£75 per session (individual)
£85 per session (couples)

Supervision

I provide clinical supervision for counsellors and students, online and in-person. Supervision is a collaborative process in a relaxed space where we explore your client work, ethical issues and professional development.£60 per session (qualified counsellors)
£50 per session (trainees)
